The agreement
Terms of use
These are the terms between you and whoever runs Upwick, which is one person. They are written to be read, not to be impressive.
Upwick does arithmetic on the size of a trade against your prop firm's published rules. It is not financial advice, it does not predict price, and it does not tell you what to buy or sell.
The firm's rules are ours to the best of our knowledge, and firms change them. Your firm's dashboard is the authority, not this site.
If Upwick is wrong, you can have your money back. What you cannot have is your trading losses back, because we are not the one who placed the trade.
1. Who you are dealing with
Upwick is operated by Ahmed Nassir, a sole proprietor based in Michigan, United States. There is no company behind it and no team — if you email, a person reads it.
Contact for anything at all, including complaints: tazvertising@gmail.com.
2. What Upwick is
You tell Upwick your prop firm, your account size, your current balance, and the trade you are about to take — entry, stop and size. It works out what that trade loses if the stop is hit, compares it against the room your firm's rules leave you, and answers in one of three ways: take it, take it smaller, or do not take it.
It shows the arithmetic it used. That is deliberate: you should be able to check the answer rather than trust it.
3. What Upwick is not
This matters more than anything else on this page, so it is not buried.
- It is not financial, investment or trading advice. Ahmed Nassir is not a licensed financial adviser, broker or investment professional, and nothing on this site is a recommendation to make any particular trade.
- It does not predict price. Upwick has no opinion on whether your trade will win. It never tells you to buy or sell, when to enter, or when to exit. If you ever see it appear to do so, that is a bug — tell us.
- It does not connect to your broker. It cannot place, modify or close a trade, and it never asks for your broker or prop firm login.
- It is not affiliated with any prop firm. FTMO, Topstep, Apex, FundedNext and any other firm named in the product are independent companies. They have not endorsed, reviewed or approved Upwick, and their names are used only to identify whose published rules are being applied.
4. The firm rules, and their limits
Upwick's answers are only as right as the rule set behind them. Those rules come from firms' public documentation. Firms change their rules, publish different rules for different account types, and apply discretion that is not written down anywhere.
Check the limits Upwick shows against your own firm dashboard before you rely on them. Where the two disagree, your firm is right and we are wrong. The product lets you type your own limits in for exactly this reason.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you type in. Upwick cannot see your account; if you give it a balance that is out of date, it will give you a confident answer built on a stale number.
5. Your account
You must be at least 18 and allowed to use a service like this where you live. One account per person. Keep control of the email address you sign in with, because anyone who controls it can get into your account.
You can delete your account at any time by emailing tazvertising@gmail.com. See the privacy page for what happens to your data when you do.
6. Paying for Pro
Pro costs $29.99 a month after a three-day free trial. The trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before it ends — we will tell you before that happens, and you can cancel from inside the app at any time.
Card payments are handled by Stripe. Upwick never sees or stores your card number.
Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not shorten the period you have already paid for — you keep Pro until that period ends. Refunds are covered on the refunds page, and that policy is part of these terms.
Prices can change. If the price of your subscription changes, you will be told before it takes effect and can cancel.
7. Using it fairly
Do not resell or redistribute access, share one account between several people, scrape or automate the service at a scale that affects other people, try to break the security of the site or other accounts, or upload anything to the screenshot reader that is not yours to upload.
The affiliate programme has its own condition worth stating plainly: referrals have to be real people who chose to sign up. Self-referrals, fake accounts, and sign-ups bought or coerced do not earn commission and will close the affiliate account.
8. When things go wrong
Upwick is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, free of bugs, or right every time. We work hard on the arithmetic, we publish what changes, and we tell you when a number you were shown was wrong — but we do not guarantee it.
Trading decisions are yours. Trading a funded or evaluation account carries real risk, including losing the fee you paid your firm and the account itself. Upwick is a calculator that speaks before you click; it cannot stop you clicking, and it cannot make a losing trade win.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Ahmed Nassir is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost evaluation or funded accounts, fees paid to a prop firm, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Upwick. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Upwick in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here tries to exclude liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Ending it
You can stop using Upwick whenever you like. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that is being used in a way that puts the service or other users at risk. If we close a paid account without cause, you get back the unused part of what you paid.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms can change as the product does. The date at the bottom is the version you are reading. Material changes will be announced in the product before they take effect, and continuing to use Upwick after that means you accept them.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, and the courts there have jurisdiction. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
