Your data
Privacy
Written as a list of what actually happens, rather than a list of everything we might one day be permitted to do.
Upwick holds your email address, the account and trade figures you type in, and a record of the checks you ran. That is nearly all of it.
It never sees your card number and never asks for your broker or prop firm login. A screenshot you upload is sent away to be read and is not kept afterwards.
Email tazvertising@gmail.com and your account and everything in it gets deleted.
What is collected
Because you typed it
- Your email address, for signing in and for the emails the product sends — the warning before a trial charge, the breach alert, and the evening summary.
- The numbers you enter: firm, account size, balance, day start, peak, and the entry, stop and size of a trade.
- Trades you log, if you use that part of the product, and the challenges or accounts you set up.
Because the product made it
- The checks you ran and what Upwick answered. This is what the cooldown and the repeat detection are built on; without it Pro cannot tell you that you are about to do the same thing again.
- What was read off a screenshot — the figures the reader found and how confident it was. Not the image.
- Basic usage events, to work out what is broken and what nobody uses.
Never collected
- Card numbers. Stripe handles payment. Upwick stores a customer reference and the state of your subscription, and nothing else.
- Broker or prop firm logins. Upwick has no connection to your trading account and never asks for one.
- Your positions, in real time. Upwick only knows what you type or paste into it.
Screenshots, specifically
When you upload a screenshot of an order ticket or a firm dashboard, the image is sent to Anthropic to be read, because that is the model doing the reading. It is not stored by Upwick afterwards — what is kept is the figures that came back and a note of how confident the read was.
So: do not upload a screenshot with something in it you would not want read by a third-party service. Crop it if you need to.
Who else touches it
Upwick is one person, so most of the machinery belongs to somebody else. These are all of them:
- Supabase — the database and sign-in. Your account and everything in it lives here.
- Vercel — hosting, and basic anonymous traffic analytics.
- Stripe — payments. They hold your card details; we do not.
- Resend — sends the product's emails, so they process your address.
- Anthropic — reads uploaded screenshots, as above.
Your data is not sold, and it is not handed to anyone for advertising. It would only go anywhere else if the law required it.
Cookies and what is stored in your browser
There is a sign-in session, which is what keeps you logged in, and some small things kept locally so the product behaves sensibly — a draft you half-typed, whether you dismissed a notice. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
How long it is kept
Account data stays while your account exists. Checks and trades stay because the product's memory is the point of them. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, which is generally several years.
Deleting it
Email tazvertising@gmail.com from the address on the account and ask. Your account and the data attached to it — profile, trades, challenges, checks, screenshot readings — will be deleted. What has to stay is the minimum billing record for tax purposes, with the personal parts stripped where they can be.
You can also ask for a copy of what is held about you, or for something to be corrected. Same address.
Security
Sign-in and data access are handled by Supabase with row-level security, so one account cannot read another's rows. Traffic is encrypted. The keys that can write your plan or read across accounts are server-side only and never reach the browser.
No small operation should claim to be unbreakable. If you find a security problem, email tazvertising@gmail.com and it will be taken seriously.
Children
Upwick is not for anyone under 18 and is not directed at children. If an account belongs to a minor, tell us and it will be removed.
Where the data lives
Upwick is run from the United States and the services above process data in the United States and elsewhere. If you use Upwick from outside the US, your data is handled in the US.
Changes
If what is collected changes, this page changes with it, and the date below moves. Material changes will be announced in the product.
